The clarified water pressurization unit uses 2 FCK 100 MC centrifugal pumps, where one pump is a spare, and is designed for the pressurization and reuse of clarified water in the industrial and mining fields; as is well known, the clarified waters of abrasive turbidity always contain a minimum part of suspended solids that make traditional pumps unsuitable.
The pump body is made of EN-GJL250 cast iron while the open type impeller is made of EN-GH300 hardened cast iron with a hardness of about 500 HB and works in contact with interchangeable rubber shields coated in NBR or POLYURETHANE. The suction of the liquid to be pumped is not frontal like standard pumps but through an intermediate lantern placed between the impeller and the mechanical seals which avoids pressure on the seals themselves and prolongs their life.
The two opposing mechanical seals are of the WIDIA/WIDIA type housed in a water-cooled sealed chamber.
The bearings, generously oversized, are oil-lubricated while the shaft is equipped with interchangeable AISI 304 bushings that protect the parts subject to wear.
The transmission to the shaft takes place with pulleys and V-belts that make the connection elastic and allow you to choose the number of revolutions suitable for your needs using commercial electric motors with the possibility of inverter control.
The pump unit is mounted on a solid hot-dip galvanized steel base while the suction and delivery manifolds are in AISI 304 complete with shut-off valves and VENTURI check valve.
